No Tech Center a-drive Workshop 2020

During the last five years, the Tech Center a-drive established a workshop series every year focusing on a special topic of automated driving. It always aimed at bringing together experts from industry and science to trigger fruitful discussions and foster development. The direct interaction and personal exchange within the community was always a pillar for this format.

In the current situation, where we all cannot meet in person, a workshop in the established format cannot be held. While digital and online workshops can cover special topics by presentations of keynote speakers, the exchange in the community cannot be supported. The added value of interaction on the personal level cannot be easily transferred to an online-only event. Therefore, the Tech Center a-drive decided to not hold an online-only workshop this year. We are sorry that there will be no Tech Center a-drive in 2020 but in the current situation, we think this is the right thing to do.
